Dr. Shrearest M. Crenshaw
My practice in Family Medicine focuses on education and prevention. I believe that patients can plan for a healthy and happy future. Prevention and education are crucial to good health. For example, when I meet a new patient, I ask them to think about their current and future health goals. Then we develop a plan to help them obtain it. I believe that patient’s day to day decisions have a tremendous impact on their health; they must be active, informed participants. While I realize that empowering patients with information is best, the patient realizes that it helps them to make wiser decisions.
I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and recently relocated to Memphis, Tennessee. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Clark Atlanta University, my Medical Degree from Southern Illinois University, and completed my residency at Columbus Regional Medical Center, in Georgia.
